What If? Metropolis | Re-Imagined Concept Art (Refined)

This time to ensure that the concept art was clean and crisp i had to go back and ensure that i sorted out the somewhat spongey edges.

  1. It's really great to see you've kept at this Sam. Really great to see lots of improvement. One suggestion, the texture on the path leading to the main building kills the scale of things. It essentially doesn't match the perspective of the shot. It also feels rather ordinary (a bit Homebase patio) in comparison with Erte's elegance. Maybe this could be a hand drawn texture that matches the patterns of Erte. Look at Joseph D'Amelio's "Perspective Drawing Handbook" (Chapter 11) for guidance on how it should sit in the shot. But congrats, keep the momentum going!
